Every day is special in the Mef. ¡But there are days that are more special than others! In addition to the MEF INVITES, there are two dates that stand out in fun in the museum’s calendar: International Museum Day, May 18th and Children’s Day (in 2018 was Sunday, August 16)

Every year, the museum is filled with special activities for all children. And this year, on Sunday, August 16, it will be very special! In addition to movies, games, treats and special visits, we launched a new contest:
“¡I want to be a paleontologist for a day!”

Every May 18 we celebrate the enthusiasm for knowledge, the adventure of discovering, the emotion of witnessing millions of years of history.
That day, museums around the world celebrate their day and the Mef is no exception.
Workshops, tours of the backstage of the museum, visits to laboratories, special talks, music and even movies are some of the activities you can enjoy on this date.
